Twyman Park is a 20 acre public park managed by the City of Poteau. Constructed in the 1930’s, it was one of the areas largest WPA projects. The park features a large pond, trails, swimming pool, playgound, lighted tennis courts, and other features. Adjacent to the park is Carl Albert State College parks area, which includes a baseball diamond, cross country trails, frisbee golf, and more.
